A name or location entered into a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Carter County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

Carter County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It identifies official request routes at the Carter County Sheriff, Circuit Clerk, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri State Highway Patrol Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a record about another person, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is subject to the provider's privacy policy, retention choices, and sharing rules. Review those terms before running a query because this policy does not control the provider's systems.
